is cheese a fringe benefit or a perk?

this morning, for the second time in as many weeks, there is cheese in the kitchen. brie, cheddar, edam (?), some other shit i can't identify, and water crackers (oh, i still remember the day i discovered these perfect little cheese vehicles). it's all very kind to bring us your leftovers from your pre-thanksgiving soiree, but couldn't you give us a little notice? now i have to eat a bagel and a 1/4 wheel of brie, and i just don't think that's so good for me.
